Hi, I’m Victoria Nagel (she/her). I work with individuals, couples, and families who are ready for change but may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I focus on helping people move forward without shame, pressure, or judgment.

My work is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), helping clients understand patterns that keep them stuck while supporting change at a pace that feels respectful and empowering. I also integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), solution-focused strategies, and mindfulness-based approaches to support insight, emotional regulation, and practical problem-solving.

I bring over a decade of experience supporting individuals with mental health concerns, substance use, and addiction recovery. I also work with couples and families impacted by a loved one’s substance use. As a therapist trained in Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT), I help families focus on their own well-being, improve communication, and support positive change, without blame or control.

In sessions, you can expect to be met where you are. Therapy may involve processing intense emotions, unpacking complex relationships, or using the space as a “verbal rage room” when life feels like too much. I believe therapy should feel supportive, authentic, human, and sometimes a little lighthearted with humor.

In addition to my clinical work, I oversee a clinical training and workforce development program at a New Jersey based public health agency and hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. I bring extensive experience in clinical supervision and training, which informs my commitment to ethical, thoughtful, and effective care.

Whether you’re seeking individual counseling, family support, or professional consultation, I would be honored to work with you.

Paul Eichert

Advance Practicing Nurse

Hi, I am Paul Eichert (He/Him). I am an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with over 20 years of experience in behavioral healthcare. I began my career in community mental health after earning my BA in Psychology, and later became a registered nurse, working for more than a decade in inpatient and hospital-based settings, including Summit Oaks, Carrier Clinic, and Rutgers UBHC in Piscataway.

As a registered nurse, I gained extensive experience supporting individuals with mood disorders, anxiety, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders. I also developed familiarity with advanced treatment modalities, including electroconvulsive therapy (ECT).

I later earned my Master’s degree and transitioned into my role as a psychiatric prescriber. I have provided medication management services in a variety of settings, including my work at Footprints to Recovery in Hamilton, NJ, where I supported individuals across a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns. Many of the individuals I’ve worked with have experienced trauma, and I take a trauma-informed approach to care.

My treatment approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, with a focus on thoughtful, individualized care. I believe in collaborating closely with each client and their broader treatment team to ensure comprehensive, supportive, and effective care.
